Eti ( Biscuit ) Summer Practice Report

Eti was founded in 1961 a personal corporation in the name of Firuz Kanatli as Eti Bisküi Fabrikası (Eti Biscuit Factory). It has now 4 companies : Eti Food Industry and Trade Co. (Eti Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.) , Eti Marketing Industry and Trade Co. (Eti Pazarlama ve Sanayi A.Ş.) ,Tam Food Industry and Trade Co.( Tam Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.), Eti Machine Industry and Trade Co. (Eti Makine Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.) . In 1972, the company become a family corporation under the name of Eti Food Industry and Trade Co. (Eti Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.) Eti Gıda A.S. Eti Gıda A.Ş. holds the industrial property rights of “ETİ” Brand. The company began to production on 20 January in 1962 with a capacity of approximately 3 tons. The first capacity increasing was in 1964 at the Central Plant in Eskisehir. Then the capacity got larger in 1967, 1970, 1973, 1975.Etimek production plant was founded in Bozuyuk in 1978. In 1994, this plant started to production of Topkek and in 1998, Popkek. Production of the Central Park (Eskisehir) was ended in 1999.Then the company started to production of all biscuits at new facilities in Eskisehir Industrial Estate.Eti applies ISO 9002 Quality Control Security System. Due to the discipline of this system, Eti places hygiene and sanitation, which are most important requirements of the food production. Eti is determined to pass to Total Quality Stage of ISO 9002 from Quality Security System. For this purpose, all necessary arrangements have been made. The main aim of Eti is to attain excellence in every respect.
